Special Expression from Poem
“Fire and Ice”, I did not know about this poem at first. During class when we tried to find poem, so I asked to my girlfriend’s favorite poem. Therefore “Fire and Ice” was one of her favorite poems. I searched about “Fire and Ice”, and I felt some special expression from this poem. “Fire and Ice” is a lyric poem centering on destructive emotions. At first I could not understand about this poem, and even did not know some of difficult vocabulary in this poem. However I wanted to figure out everything, and wanted to present this poem in front of class. This poem had very interesting topics. It included fire and ice inside of a poem, and I loved both fire and ice. I was very anxious about this poem, but after it makes me understand better than first time. "Fire and Ice" which is 9 lines of poem written by Robert Frost which contrast with opinion which are the world can end in people's passion and desire, and the world will be destroy by frustration, and people's failures.
The writer of “Fire and Ice” is Robert Frost. “Fire and Ice” is his best known poem, and except “Fire and Ice’, he wrote many different famous poems. Robert Frost wrote “Fire and Ice” in the December 1920. It appeared in New Hampshire, a collection of his poems published at New York in 1923. The poem describes some people say that the world will end in fire, and some people who say it will end in ice. Robert Frost explained how life on earth would be end with. I felt kind of sad, and nervous when I heard this poem at first. I thought moreover with fire and ice in this poem. Fire can be like global warming, people’s passions, and strong desire. Ice can be like nuclear winter, freedom, and feather. I felt this poem is like examples of our life disaster, and people’s own passions in the future. Also this poem is one of the examples of our life, because sometimes we felt hot and sometimes we felt cold. In my opinion Robert Frost thought much different daily life with fire and ice, explained with beautiful rhymes, and write perfect poem.
“Fire and Ice” is only nine lines long poem, and this little poem is a brilliant example of many people’s daily life style with show future disaster. The poem varies between two meter lengths and uses three sets of interwoven rhymes, based on “-ire,” “-ice,” and “-ate.” In this poem writer used end rhyme in each sentences. Each line contains either four or eight syllables, and can be read naturally as strongly, but this is not strictly for several lines. Robert Frost wrote this poem very strongly and clearly to include many people’s daily life. In the first two lines of the poem, speaker explained about two groups of people believe in each element. These two sentences were individual ideas of many people. It is not clear which element will destroy the world with fire or ice. “Fire and Ice” combines with humor, fury, detachment, and forthrightness. I really liked those lines that used many rhymes with interesting vocabulary. The line 7 “To say that for destruction ice” which told strong opinion, and need for the perfect letdown to end “Fire and Ice”. “Fire and Ice” is in iambic tetrameter. It showed lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and iambic dimeter showed lines 2, 8, and 9. Some SAY (1)... the WORLD (2) … will END (3) … in FIRE (4).
When I read and looked over this poem at first, it was very confused and hard to understand. However I had to memorize, and read this poem in front of this poem. Also when I looked this poem, I saw very strong vocabulary like desire, perish, and destruction. This seems like world will be destroy by frustration, and it might be people’s failures. For this project I had to understand this poem perfectly. I searched this poem, and I tried to understand this poem really hard. Also when I read this poem in front of class, I chose sad and quiet music. I thought this poem showed destructive emotions, and frustration emotion. I thought sad mood of music would be better choice. For this project I learned much knowledge from this poem, and I learned in short poem there are many meanings for our life. Also from this poem I felt world can destroy in people’s passion, and desire. From now I am going to reduce my desire, and think about this poem every time. Maybe In the future I am going to write my own poem about part 2 of “Fire and Ice” with my hard life, and share with many people.

Poem review for Annie

Peer Review for Annie
           There are many poems in the world that we can read, but many poems are different, and have many special meanings in each line. However Annie explained about this poem really well, and she wrote very specific about poems. She also putted outside information about “A Small Needful Fact”. Annie started her essay really well. First Annie started with her ideas, and thesis of this poem. She did not put actual hook, but she organized poem analysis really well. She putted actual quotations in poem’s title, and important words in poem. She putted analysis of poem in each body paragraphs. I really liked that she putted her own opinion after analysis, and she explained very specifically about characters in this poem. I heard this poem from her during class, and I tried to read through entire poem. However it was very hard to understand and poem include humanities, but Annie wrote very long, and seems like she has great understanding. She’s analysis was very specific with her own opinions of poem.
After introduction Annie explained about character of poem every specifically. She analysis this poem with character. Also she explained emotions in this poem. However she keeps wrote similar story in every paragraph. She has to make short summary with her opinion, because she has long paragraphs about poem. She can make shorter than before. She also explained rhyme of poem, sounds of poem, and symbol of referring hope at the end of the poem. However in this paragraph there are few of punctuation mistakes. In this paragraph sentences were too long. You have to separate your sentences with period, because you kept use comma, and continued sentences, but these problems make sentence really long. She also has grammar mistakes during sentences. Sometime she putted past tenses, but sometime she putted present tenses. However she actually putted past tenses more, so she can fix it all to past tenses. Last she had more information to find it in other website, but she did not put citations.  
            She putted much information for analysis poem, but there were many punctuation mistakes, and few of grammar mistakes. In first draft of essay many people can mistakes, and it is not perfect essay. However after go over first draft she can learn something from my peer review, and fix her mistakes. Annie putted her own conclusion with her own opinions, but she’s conclusion is not very clear. Also at the end of her essay was not organized in last paragraphs. She can fix more clear conclusions, punctuations, grammar mistakes, and more organization at the end of paragraph. Annie started with her introduction, but I think she can make stronger thesis statement in her essay. She wrote much information, and searched it many different information about “A Small Needful Fact” poem. She has few of mistakes in each paragraph, but she started with great analysis about this poem. If she fixes few of mistakes, it will become perfect final draft. She started really great, with her clear opinions.

Theater Review

Last Theater in This Year
In Friday night I went to watch theater with my friends. I heard this theater about comedy for laughing. In every end of seasons our school prepare theater, and many people go to watch theater. Ms. Guarino is head of theater department, and she has many different ideas of theater every seasons. I did not performed in theater, but I was one of the members in pit band in the winter, and last year winter. Both of theaters were very interesting topics for me, and also these comedy theater was awesome too.
          I actually still have big problems to understand fast English during theater or many  American news. However most of scene was very easy to understand, and each of scenes have fun, and interesting topics for many people. It seems like many crew members and actors worked really hard. Especially crew members had to control lights, musics, and volumes for actors. It is very hard to control all these things without practice, but they did perfect jobs like profession real crews, and they were not like high school students. Also there were many scenes during 2 hours half minutes, but actors did not make any mistakes during 2 hours. It seems they practice really hard, and worked really hard each other.
         There was my favorite scene at the end of theater. It was morning meeting scene. I loved that they pretended to show our school morning meeting with parody many teachers and students. My favorite parts were Ms. Anderson, and Mr. Dykeman's part. They wore same clothes like both teachers, and they action perfectly. Mr. Dykeman was John Jiang who is my favorite actors in most of theaters. He worked really hard, and his first language is not English, but he tried to make perfect English pronouns every time. From his hard work we can enjoy theater during 2 hours half minutes. I hope there are many theathers coming out in the future at Cheshire Academy. Also maybe next year I might try actor in theater. I don't have good ability to make perfect right over, but I will work really hard if I become actor, and I will never give up.

Dreams are just like flowers,we can't imagine our life without and as such we have to take care of just as we do with flowers to grow up as we want. Every one in this life has his own dreams and lam that one who has alot of dreams and l would like all my dreams to come true one day. One of my dreams is to take a trip around the world, so that l would be able to get knowledge and insight about that an unknown world for me.

In class writing/ My Father and the Fig Tree

     For father this fig is very special, and has a wish to Allah in this poem. Fig is one of delicious, and sweattest fruit. However father thought this figs are one of earth gifts from Allah, and he kinds of pray with fig to Allah. He feels very important about fig, and tries to keep many figs for himself, family and Allah. Father taught about his religion to his family include with special figs. Father wants to show how figs are important to him to his son, and his family. He wants to be special, and he doesn't want to be normal person. He kept moving home for finding many figs, and for that dream he worked really hard to find largest, fattest, and sweetest figtrees in the world for his dream, for his family and for his belief.
     In my opinion he thinks this figs are hope, and dream for this father, and he shows that biggest, and very special figtrees for his family. Also for father figs are life of big natures. He believes one of religions Allah, and follows their cultures. Father dream was about get the largest, fattest, and sweetest fig. For them they thinks that figs are tokens, emblems, assurance of a world that was always his own with many different special figs in the world. For this father figs are one of dreams for him, and one of symbolize for him.  Also I guess he thinks more culture include with figs, and has wish for safe with specialize for him.

Alone

 

From childhood's hour I have not been

As others were; I have not seen

As others saw; I could not bring

My passions from a common spring.

     This poem is about perspective of an adult looking back on his childhood. When I looked at this poem at first, I felt really sad for his childhood. He was very different, and special than other people. He had no friends, and he was alone. Therefore he loved alone, and he was always very dark. First I thought about tone of this poem. The tone of this poem was very somber, recollection, and very dark. The poem consists of 11 rhyming couplets. The first four lines demonstrate the rhyming pattern. I also really liked this rhyming pattern of this poem, because it showed really good expressions of his situation in childhood. In each of sentences there are 8 syllables of beats in this poem. There are no stanzas in this poem. It has only one paragraph, and there are 22 lines in this poem. Also the form for this poem is AA, BB, CC, DD, EE. I really liked that there are many repetitions in this poem. For example mostly it started with as others, I have not, and from. From CHILD.. hood’s HOUR.. I HAVE.. not BEEN. This sentence was demonstrating the pattern of meter. In my opinion since his childhood, he has been unlike others. He had his own emotions, but he did not develop with many people. He was alone most of the time, and he was melancholy child. Every time he says that he loved alone. However he wanted many different friends like other people. He was too special for many people. Also I could think about this situation when I read this poem. He felt encourage about himself after he knew that there was hope for him. Also in line 9 ‘Then- in my childhood, in the dawn.’ In the dawn I think it means about hope in his stormy life, and hard life without his family. However when he became adult he married, and he had wife with baby to stay with him. I really liked this poem, and it felt me life is hard, but there is hope in everywhere.

TATTOOIN RUTH

Collars are choking,

Pants are expensive,

Jackets are itchy and hot,

So tattooin' Ruth tattooed me a suit.

Now folks think I'm dressed-

     I did not take long time to chose this poem called TATTOOIN RUTH. I really liked title, because I knew what is tattoo, and my friends did tattoo in their many different body parts. I read this poem, and I really could understand why this man wrote this poem. This poem is about feeling when they do tattoo. I knew this feeling, because I never did tattoo, but I heard this feeling from my friends who did tattoo on their bodies. It was very interesting, because this poem writer putted really fit words, and made rhymes. Also this poem is very short, and it seems like simple. However if some people know tattoo, they will know why this poem is very interesting, and explained with great expressions. Also it was very easy to understand this poem in right away, and I did not get confuse when I read this poem. I felt most of poems are hard and poems were very hard to understand at first, but after I read this poem, I could feel this poem make me easy to understand with great expressions. I really liked this poem, and I also want to write these kind of poem in the future.

The Challenge Creative Project
During class we read and watched Pobby and Dingan. There were many different chapters and scenes in each part of book and movie. However in each part of sections I felt different feelings, so I thought about make different feeling of musics. In the story there were many important characters in each scenes. We watched movie called Opal Dream. This movie is similar with Pobby and Dingan. However in the movie there were many background musics covered. I could focus movie more than book, because I could see each of character’s feeling with many different music categories. For example many characters have different moods in each section. There might be happy, exciting, sad, scary, and strong music in each of scenes. When I watched movie I felt that maybe I could make music and put in my own film shortly. Also I can play clarinet, and I am one of musicians. I thought it might be challenge, but I could try. However I never made music before, so I tried to get help from my music teachers. I really wanted to make my own music from my own feeling about this story. Therefore I’m going to make 3 different kinds of musics about important beginning part, middle part, and ending parts about this story.
At first I thought it would be impossible to make my own music, and it would be my own dream by myself about making music. However I really wanted to make music by my feelings, so I started big challenge just with my big music passions. I started to think what kind of musics I had to make, and I listened many different categories of songs. I asked to music teachers about making musics, and they talked about melodies first, because there are many melodies in each of musics. Also melodies always start to make many different musics. Therefore I just listened many different sometimes beautiful musics, sometimes sad musics, and sometimes strong musics for my own musics. I have music class everyday during school day, so if I needed help, I could get help from my music teachers. However I played my clarinet, and tried to find great melodies. Therefore I thought about great melodies every time, and tried to make melodies. I felt very hard to find great melodies about this story, so finally I thought I needed help. My music teacher played piano, and played many different melodies for me. There was one melody that really fit with Pobby and Dingan. That melody was very mystery, and it started with very sad. I could imagine Ashmol, because I remembered Ashmol went to claim by himself to find Pobby and Dingan for Kellyanne. This melody was perfect about this part of stories. After I heard that melody, I tried to find clarinet notes’ for my own music. Also I tried to develop my first music, because it was only first part of melody, and I wanted to make longer than the second measures. It took long time to make first music, because I had to practice my own music to record, and I tried to make other melodies. Also I connected with many different great melodies for fit with story. My music teachers helped me to record together. They played piano for me, and I played clarinet. It was very hard to play together, and record together. I wanted perfect, so I practiced really hard with my music teachers. Also in my second song, I made similar melodies, but I changed major of key. It could make different feelings when I changed major. I did not know about this knowledge before making my own music. I learned a lot about music during project. I think my music skills improved with my own musics. I worked really hard, and I thought really hard. I went music room every day, and most of afternoon time to work on my musics.
There was harder part than making music at the last. I wanted to make short film with putted pictures. It was really hard part to find pictures, because I wanted many different parts that include with my musics. I took almost every day to find pictures. I added more pictures every day, and I could find most of pictures. At first I almost gave up to find many different pictures, but I worked hard and tried really hard every time. Therefore I finished my own musics, and I finished finding pictures. I putted together my musics, pictures and my passions in this project. My strong strengths were never giving up and worked really hard every time for perfect project. For my weakness this was my first making musics, but I made 3 great musics. I got help from music teachers, but I worked most of it, so I did not feel like I got help from music teachers. Next time I want to find great melodies by myself without help, because this time my music teachers helped me to find one of melodies I used. Also I can make longer and harder music in the future. It might be really cool musics will come out by myself.

Progress of Creative Project

     Last week was first draft of creative project, and I showed 2 musics that I made. Most of feedback for me was that include picture with music, and try to explain music's emotions. Also which characters include with music. Therefore I actually try to find pictures of Pobby and Dingan's characters. Especially I wanted to find Ashmol went down to claim and try to find Pobby and Dingan. However I could not find Ashmol's pictures. I am going to work on one more music more specially, because some of people wrote feedback that if all 3 musics melodies are same, it is going to be boring. I also thought about that. However making musics are thinking, and very creative every time. Therefore I might work hard for my last music, and maybe I might put my one of music for James group, but we have to talk about this more I guess.

Proposal Due for Creative Project
In this creative project, I want to make background music for Pobby and Dingan. At first I worried about making music, because I never make music before by myself, and I knew it will be hard. Also I have no group. Only I am going to make my own music by myself. It might be harder. However I thought, this will be my first challenge for make my own music, and I can make better music at the future. I think this story is very mystery, because at the first of story, Kellyanne could see invisible friends Pobby and Dingan. However her father Rex lost Pobby and Dingan in his claim. She worried too much about Pobby and Dingan, so she got sick. Therefore she asked to Ashmol to find Pobby and Dingan for her in her father’s claim, so he went to claim by himself at late night. I want to make very scary music too, because Ashmol went claim by himself, and he found some evidence of Pobby and Dingan might be real. He could not believe Pobby and Dingan at first, but in the claim there were chocolate bars and Dingan’s opal inside of claim. I want to make very sad, and scary music mostly start to Kellyanne, and end to death of Pobby and Dingan.
            Actually I never make music before. When I was young, I tried to make my own music, but I gave up. It was very confused and hard to make my own music. Therefore I am going to ask to Mrs. Digiacomo about making my own sad music about Pobby and Dingan. This project might be hard for me, because I might think many different music ideas, and prepare perfect music for this project. I am going to go extra help both English and music teachers, and ask about how can I put this music in the story. I might going to make perfect own music for myself, Kellyanne, Ashmol, Pobby and Dingan. I am going to learn more about music, and look forward of my music ability. Also I can feel more about Ashmol's feeling in claim alone, and Pobby and Dingan's reality.

The Powerful Ability of Opal
For Ashmol’s family opals were very important, because every happening were included with opal in every scenes. Australian Geograpic quote says "The secret of an opal's color lies not in its substance but in its absences." The most important thing in opals are not only colors. There are many different powerful ability with turly meaning inside of opal.  It can have secret power inside. In my opinion inside of opals are very special and very secret with powerful ability to include with Ashmol’s family.
In the book Pobby and Dingan Ashmol’s father Rex was always trying to find opal in Lightning Ridge. Rex brought her wife Annie with his family in small poor town. Every single day Rex had big thinking of opal, because he knew that he had to protect his family and earn money for something. Therefore he felt more important about opal to protect his family. He worked really hard to find expensive opal for earn money. Rex’s wife Annie was in England, but she came to Australia because of Rex. She believed Rex and followed him, but Rex could not find opals a lot, so she missed her ex boyfriend and worried about her family.  I think in the opals there are strong power to make people crazy or have big ability for protect somebody. Especially like Rex. He tried to make profit for family with opal.
Also Kellyanne asked to Ashmol to find Pobby and Dingan in the claim at midnight, so Ashmol went to claim to find Pobby and Dingan for Kellyanne. He went down to claim at midnight, but for real he smelts somethings, so he followed smell, and he found the wrapper of a Violet Crumble chocolate bars under the claim. Therefore he tried to search more about Pobby and Dingan, and finally he found definite provision about Pobby and Dingan. It was opal. All of provisons were together, and Ashmol become that there might be Pobby and Dingan. That opal was Dingan’s opal. That opal was very beautiful and very expensive opal, but Kellyanne did not want to sell it. Therefore he did not sell and used to prepare for funeral with opal. Ashmol believes that he is not doing wrong, and helped Kellyanne, Pobby and Dingan for good ways.
In my opinion opal’s powerful abilities are very amazing and sometimes very scary. In the book Pobby and Dingan Kellyanne dead at the ending of story. Her imaginary characters Pobby and Dingan make her dead, but I think Dingan’s opal had powerful ablitiy. Also sometimes opal make people crazy, and using good ways. For Rex, opal is very important for his life and his family’s life, and for Ashmol, opal can protect families, and helped her sister Kellyanne, Pobby and Dingan’s funeral. Inside of opal there are many different power, but sometimes it helped, but sometimes it gave unluck. Kellyanne, Pobby and Dingan might stay in beautiful and colorful opal to protect their families.

Different of book and film

   First in the film it was happy ending, because the fat man helped to prepare the funereal, so Ashmol could organize funereal and prepared funereal with his mom and dad. Also many people came to funereal and said sorry to Kellyanne for Pobby and Dingan. However in the book it was very sad story, because at first the fat man did not give back the opal to Ashmol. This was the beginning of sad story, and Kellyanne dead at last. Also old Sid did not show up in the funereal, so both film and book have different ending story, happy and bad ending.

Pobby and Dingan Chapter 8~12 Quiz

2. What connection does Ashmol make between the land covered with seawater and Pobby and Dingan? Why is that important to the story?

- When Ashmol went to opal place to find Pobby and Dingan, he remembered Ashmol father Rex, told Ashmol something; He told that "All this land where Lightning Ridge is now was once covered by seawater and how all kinds of sea creatures had been found fossilized in the rock." He "felt a shiver go down my spine just thinking about how strange this was, that a sea was once here where now there is nothing but dry land." He surprised this dry land, so he thought maybe Pobby and Dingan might be exist, because he did not know these facts, so he just thought forward Pobby and Dingan are real maybe.
At the first of story, Ashmol did not believe Pobby and Dingan. He thought they don't exist ever. However when Ashmol went opal place to pretend to find Pobby and Dingan, his mind became little change.   He thought "maybe if this amazing thing was true it was just possible Pobby and Dingan were true too." He did not believe Pobby and Dingan at first, but from this happen his mind became change and it become very important about Pobby and Dingan might be exist or not exist for this descriptions, and this is Ashmol's changing points in this story. Also Ashmol will be find Pobby and Dingan as best he can, and can see Pobby and Dingan or not.

5. In the very end of the novel, Ashmol talks about what it’s like to “believe in something which is hard to see. Or to keep looking for something that’s totally hard to find.” Discuss the importance of imagination and dreams in this novel. Why are they so important even if they cannot be seen. Consider what dreams Rex, the father, and Annie, the mother, have in the story. Consider, also, the dream that Ashmol has. How do those "unseen" dreams connect to Kellyanne's belief in Pobby and Dingan?

- Many people have their own imaginations or dreams, not only in this novel characters have imaginations or dreams. For example Kellyanne have big imaginations about Pobby and Dingan. Kellyanne expect Pobby and Dingan too much, so Kellyanne became sick. All of her family worried Kellyanne especially her father Rex and her brother Ashmol. Kellyanne's father Rex had imaginations with big dreams. Rex bring Kellyanne mom Annie to Lightning Ridge, and in this town it had nothing. There was only desert with nothing. However Rex wanted to be rich and make a lot of money with opal. Also he wanted that his family all become healthy with peaceful life, but especially Kellyanne did not healthy, because of worrying Pobby and Dingan. Rex loved opal, and also he thought, if he work and find great opal, he believe he becomes rich man with his family Kellyanne, his wife Annie, and Ashmol. Rex had a big future dreams with his opal minds. Also Ashmol had imaginations about all of his family stay together with him. At first Ashmol was young, but he understand his mom. He knew that his mom kept remind about England, because she was missing her home, and her beautiful life in England. Ashmol worried his mom, so he prepared to sell opal in holiday for his mom. Ashmol is very nice guy, and he worried about Kellyanne a lot. Kellyanne became sick, because Pobby and Dingan disappeared, so she worried too much and become sick. Therefore Ashmol pretended to find Pobby and Dingan for Kellyanne. However Kellyanne did not believe Ashmol, but still he went to opal place to find Pobby and Dingan for Kellyanne. He worried all of his family and help his family a lot. Also both Rex and Ashmol have imaginations or have their dreams for their families. However Kellyanne have"unseen" dreams and invisible friends Pobby and Dingan. She believes Dingan has opal belly botton, and she always think Pobby and Dingan are stay with her and she wanted to believe every time. In my opinion she was very lonely and she need that someone play with her, stay with her, and protect her. Also she hope that all family stay with her. All of their family want to be safe and stay together with peace.

Imagine Pobby and Dingan

   Kellyanne have two imaginary friends. First is Pobby and second is Dingan. Pobby is a boy and Dingan is a girl. In my opinion Pobby and Dingan have different personalities in their life. I think Pobby is very outgoing and always exciting person, because Kellyanne explained to Ashmol that Pobby love to collect small opal like Ashmol. However Dingan is one of careful girl every time, because she doesn't want to get interrupt from anyone. Dingan is afraid of many people, so Kellyanne try to protect Dingan more than Pobby. Pobby and Dingan have same age about 12 years old. They are very nice to Kellyanne, and Kellyanne can control Pobby and Dingan. However they always want to play with Kellyanne, and Kellyanne mostly stay with them or play with them.
    Pobby and Dingan don't like any people except Kellyanne, because nobody believe that they are existing in real life. However Kellyanne always talk about Pobby and Dingan, and help them. Kellyanne help them to eat each lollipops to both, and make them comfortable every time for them. I think Pobby is taller than Dingan, because Pobby is boy, and he is very outgoing person, so he play many activities with Kellyanne. He love to swing with Dingan, but Dingan doesn't like a lot. Therefore Kellyanne always play for Pobby when he ride swing by himself. Actually both Pobby and Dingan are looking very nice. Pobby has blue eyes with perfect faces, and Dingan has black eyes with long hair.
   In my opinion Kellyanne love to play with them, so she also imagining Pobby and Dingan every time. Kellyanne doesn't have enough friends to play or understand Kellyanne about her opinions. Therefore she made her own characters only for her, so Pobby and Dingan are Kellyanne's imaginary friends. Only Pobby and Dingan understand Kellyanne and play with Kellyanne. Kellyanne, Pobby, and Dingan are love to stay together and play together every time. Kellyanne can not control her mental when Pobby and Dingan are not with her.

In-class writing

 In my opinion Pobby and Dingan are not real. However in this story many different character mentioned about Pobby and Dingan are like real people. In this story Kellyanne was Ashomal's sister. At first Kellyanne imagined about Pobby and Dingan, and she believed that they are real people.  However narrator Ashomal did not want to believe that Pobby and Dingan are real people. "They never existed. Things that never existed can't be dead right?" Dingan knew Pobby and Dingan are not real people. Also at first Kellyanne's father did not believe Pobby and Dingan. "Aw, sorry, princess. Did I tread on your fairy-friends?" However father asked questions about Pobby and Dingan to Kellyanne. Therefore after that happened father also believed Pobby and Dingan. "Well, I got to admit it was a funny sight seeing my dad heading out holding hands with two invisible people." Ashomal did not believe at all about Pobby and Dingan. His father got angry, because Kellyanne was mad at father. Father left Dingan and Pobby. Father became crazy. I think Pobby and Dingan are just imagination of Kellyanne's invisible friends. Kellyanne did not have many friends. I guess maybe she's lonely with no friends or have many creativity thinking a in her mind. I hope many characters are not become crazy because of about Pobby and Dingan.

Favorite Character in Once on This Island

   In Once on This Island, my favorite character was Ti Moune. I think Ti Moune was one of poor character in the musical. Ti Moune got in love Daniel. However at first Daniel also love Ti Moune, so they loved each other, but because of Daniel's mother and father he could not get relationship with Ti Moune. His parents did not aloud to have relationship with Ti Moune, because Daniel had his fiancĂ© Andrea. Andrea was rich girl and Ti Moune was poor girl. Ti Moune waited for Daniel, and she did not eat, drink and only wait for Daniel. Ti Moune died at the last, but mother of earth made Ti Moune to tree, so she can look over Daniel. I almost punched Daniel after show, but I could not, because he is older than me! However I think both Ti Moune and Daniel acted really good in this musical.

After Once on This Island

When I got in Once on This Island’s pit band, I did not know anything about this story and did not know what I had to do. I was one of musician in the pit band. However I was not actor, because I was making music for musical. Last year when I was in eighth grade, I also played music of Spelling Bee. Actually at that time I was very surprised about instrument can play music for the musical. When I got music of Once on This Island, I was very confused, because there were many hard notes to play and there were many music to play for the musical. However like last year, we all practiced really hard to make perfect sounds of music for perform in musical.
    Although at first, I even did not know about story of Once on This Island. However we started to practice musical together and I became to understand the story. There was Ti Moune who is a peasant girl that hopes for a better life, and Daniel who had car crash. Daniel was very rich and Ti Moune was actually poor. Ti Moune found Daniel from car accident, and Ti Moune got love from Daniel. Also there were four gods to control the world. There were Asaka, Agwe, Erzulie, and Papa Ge. Asaka was mother of the earth, Agwe was god of water, Erzulie was goddess of love and Papa Ge was demon of death. Ti Moune saved Daniel, but Daniel forgot about Ti Moune. Therefore Daniel tried to remind Ti Moune, and Daniel also loved Ti Moune. However Daniel's mother and father could not understand Daniel and blocked Daniel's emotion, because Daniel already had Andrea that Daniel's fiance. Daniel could not have relationship with Ti Moune. Ti Moune was really sad and she really loved Daniel. Therefore Ti Moune did not eat, drink and move. She was waiting Daniel for a long time. However mother of the earth Asaka made Ti Moune very special. Ti Moune became tree and that tree never died and looked at once on the island.
    In my opinion this musical was very nice and very interesting. We had three same shows in Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We were very tired and had less power, but we acted hard and played hard. I had the honor that I was one of the member of theater and helped musical to went well. Many different people of actors, teachers, and students prepared almost two month. Everybody worked really hard and prepared this show for long time. Therefore we could finish this musical very successfully. Maybe next year I think I am going to play pit band again and I think I am going to improve every years, because of many different show of musics. I loved musicals and musics and this feeling will be continue forever.

Revise Essay in Writing Center
    When I went to writing center, I always felt not good, because I have to prepare to fix my most of paragraphs. I was very afraid every time to go to writing center. However for my better essay, I went to writing center to revise my essay. When I met Ms. Swift at first, I felt she is very strict and have many different creativity ideas, because she explained how to start essay.
    First, she talked about thesis statement. Thesis statement is one of start in essay and most important to write before organize essay, because thesis statement is one of argue inside of book, so this argue have to support with many example in the novel or film. However she talked about my thesis has little problem. She actually did not like my thesis, because of one of word selfish. However in my opinion word selfish is fine inside of my thesis, because I worked thesis for a while during class and during extra help time with teachers. Some of teachers told that my thesis and my argue direction is fine, but only Ms. Swift did not like my thesis. Therefore I did not fix my thesis in my essay.
    Second, she talked about summaries and analysis. Actually I knew about this before she told to me. In my essay there are too many specific summaries. However I did not put enough quotes and examples after write my argues and summaries. This was actually good point out. The sentences of quotes must support for my argues, but I did not put quotes after all of sentences. However Ms. Swift just want me to put quotes for support my argues. Also there are too many similar summaries in all of paragraphs, so she preferred to delete similar summaries and put more quotes and more analysis. Ms. Swift adviced many different specific plot, and her examples. Actually in my opinion she explained too much her own idea, but some of her advices were very helpful me to revise my essay.
    People can make many different mistakes with many problems. However we have to find mistakes and revise all to be perfect. It take a long time to find mistakes, and revise all of essay. I had too much similar summaries in each of paragraphs, so I could not put enough quotes and analysis. I learned that example of quotes are important to support my arguments. From now I am going to check my whole essay and check more mistakes, because I think, I might have more mistakes in my essay. Also I am going to add more quotes after summaries with my own opinions. I have to put more analysis too instead of similar summaries, and need to make perfect essay.
